Our team has partnered with the National Renewable Energy Lab (NREL), the FSEC Energy Research Center, Packetized Energy, and ecobee on this project. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

NREL advances the science and engineering of energy efficiency, sustainable transportation, and renewable power technologies and provides the knowledge to integrate and optimize energy systems. NREL will lead and conduct hardware-in-the-loop testing of heat pumps at their laboratory facilities in Golden, CO.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

ecobee is a leader in smart thermostat technology. ecobee will also serve as a distributor partner, alongside Packetized, to contribute to the verification and assessment of the potential for heat pumps to provide grid services.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

15 Lightyears is the largest Florida-based energy performance and testing contractor serving residential, multifamily and commercial projects throughout Florida from Orlando, Tampa, Sarasota, and Boca Raton. Headquartered in Orlando, we have partnered with 15 Lightyears to enroll an additional ten Florida-homes in our study. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
